They are the right size. However, if you prefer a looser fit, choose a larger size!

These items are very cool and fit me well. However, if you normally wear an XS, you should size up for a more oversized fit. Also, regarding Chinese sizing, for example, if you typically wear a size M, choose a size L because Chinese sizes tend to run one size smaller.
